Submission to the Citizens’ Assembly on Climate Change

The Citizens’ Assembly is currently open to submissions on “How the State can make Ireland a leader in tackling climate change“. The closing date for submissions on the topic is 5pm on Friday, 11th of August.

Members of the public, representative groups and citizen organisations are urged to make a submission to the Assembly. We are sharing our submission to inspire and help our supporters and wider public in writing their own.

You do not have to be an expert on climate to write a submission, it is best to write it in your own words but you can take excerpts from this and other submissions to share your vision on how the Irish Government can take action on climate change.

Together, we can urge the Irish Government to do the right thing and implement the changes we need for a safe climate and future for all.
