Funders and Corporate Members
VOICE is a member-based environmental Charity established in 1997. We currently focus our attention on waste and water issues. VOICE membership represents people from across Ireland and reflects the growing concern that Irish people have for the quality of their environment.
THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS, CLIMATE ACTION AND ENVIRONMENT
The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment has granted over €300,000 to fund the Recycling Ambassadors Programme. VOICE also receives core funding from the Department through the Irish Environmental Network.
The Recycling Ambassador Programme workshops are also supported by the three regional waste offices; Southern, Eastern-Midlands and Connacht-Ulster Waste Regions, facilitating 700 recycling workshops around the country.
REPAK provided funding toward the Recycling Ambassador Grant Programme for 85 communities throughout the country to finance sustainable activities and is now funding our new recycling pilot in apartment buildings.
VOICE Ireland is a member of the Irish Environmental Network (IEN), which represents the capacity building and funding needs of several national environmental organisations to the Irish government. We are extremely grateful to the IEN for the support it provides to VOICE Ireland.
