Food Rescue[/caption]VOICE’s second ‘Food Rescue’ event will be held at O’Donovans Hotel in Clonakilty, Cork, organised by members of Clonakilty Tidy Towns, Branch Out, Sustainable Clonakilty and GIY Clonakilty.Top chefs from Richys Bar & Bistro and Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa, Clonakilty, West Cork will be cooking up a storm, making a delicious free meal cooked using food that cannot be sold as it is passed its sell by (but not use by) date, or is ‘ugly’ (not perfect looking but still incredibly tasty) from Scally's Supervalu Clonakilty and Harte's SPAR Supermarket.The event will also include a screening of the documentary "Trashed" and composting demonstrations.Come and share a delicious meal with your local community and learn more about how you can Food Rescue!This is a free event, open to all, taking place at O’Donovans Hotel, Pearse Street, Clonakilty.The event will take place Sunday the 1st February from 12.30pm.
