The National Waste Prevention Programme’s Annual Report for 2017 outlines many of the great initiatives that came about last year, including much of our work on waste prevention.

2017 was one of our busiest years, VOICE launched Zero Waste Cashel, the Conscious Cup Campaign and the Recycling Ambassador Programme as well as leading a host of activities in Dublin and Cashel, Co. Tipperary, for Reuse month including the Dublin Library of Things and other reuse events.

Reading through this report has been a nice reminder that there is a lot of positive activity going on in Ireland, moving us closer to a more sustainable and resource efficient way of living.

Ireland’s National Waste Prevention Programme supports homeowners, businesses and other sectors to prevent waste and use resources more efficiently, read more about the various initiatives here in their annual report.
