Your Period Story Matters – Share It Anonymously!
🩸 Have you ever had a moment with your period that stuck with you? Maybe you struggled to find a bathroom at school, faced stigma when talking about it, or found the perfect product that made life easier. Maybe your period has affected your mood, your health, or even how you feel about your body.
Whatever your experience, we want to hear your story!
✨ Why?
We’re gathering real-life stories from young people across Europe to be featured in a training manual on menstrual literacy for youth leaders and young people. These anonymous stories will help bring menstrual experiences to life—making conversations about periods more open, relatable, and empowering.
💬 What can you share?
Your story can be about anything period-related:
✔️ Navigating period stigma and taboos
✔️ Choosing period products and sustainability
✔️ Period poverty and access to essentials
✔️ The emotional and physical side of periods
✔️ Talking about periods with friends, family, or partners
✔️ First-period stories and learning about your cycle
✔️ Periods and gender identity
✔️ …and so much more!
🚀 Who’s behind this?
This call for stories is part of the Mensy Project, an Erasmus+ initiative focused on increasing menstrual literacy and sustainability. With partners across Ireland, the UK, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, and Ukraine, we’re working together to create a training course and manual that will make a real impact.
